There's nothing quite like the anticipation of spring. Amiright? The cold winter months seem to drag along (in New England at least) and even though there is something to be said for the coziness the winter brings, by this time of year I am always itching for spring. I love every season for different reasons, but I think I'm partial to the feeling of hitting that reset button in spring. It seems like a renewal in so many ways: the trees and flowers are blooming, the weather begins to get warmer, and the days longer. And let's be serious, that first al fresco cocktail of the season... NO WORDS. So in in true floral fashion, I want to share my favorite botanical bar cart "musts".

1. KETEL ONE BOTANICALS

I tried Ketel One Botanicals for the
first time last summer and I've been hooked ever since. Not only are the bottles beautiful and perfect to display, but all 3 flavors are honestly delicious. I prefer them just with soda water garnished with some fresh fruit, but if you'd like to add in something extra, a splash of fresh squeezed juice tastes delish.
My go-to combos are:
1.5 oz Grapefruit & Rose
Soda Water
Lemon or Lime Garnish
1.5 oz Cucumber & Mint
Soda Water
Fresh Mint
2. Belvoir elderflower lemonade
If you haven't tried the Belvoir Lemonades yet, you're in for a REAL treat. Again, the bottle is adorable, so it's perfect to display (or bring for a host gift) and it's just as yummy as it looks. If you're feeling a cocktail, vodka, soda water, and some of this magic will have your mouth doing back flips. It even comes in a rose version. Just craving a mocktail? These lemonades are delightful on their own as well. And, if you want to lessen the calories, just add in some soda water.
3. St. germain

This tried and true elderflower liqueur is delicious and an extremely easy way to spruce up your cocktail. Pour this at happy hour and your guests won't want to leave!
1.5 parts St Germain
2 parts sparkling wine
2 parts soda water
Top with a twist of lemon
Well there you have it, folks. Three easy ways to add a little spring into your life, your glass and on your bar cart. If you try any of these suggestions, be sure to tag @__dunlovely__ on Instagram or Facebook because I love to see people enjoying a good cocktail. #dunlovelyontheblog
